WHAT WE CAN RECYCLE

We recycle all different shapes and sizes of batteries, ensuring environmentally hazardous substances are kept out of landfills. Choose the environmentally responsible option with The Abilities Group for your battery disposal needs.

ALKALINE BATTERIES

Our partnership with Tokyo Steel in Japan allows us to recycle alkaline batteries, with components being repurposed to eliminate waste landfill. 

To bulk recycle your alkaline batteries you can order one of our battery recycling kits. Each kit will be couriered out to you, with a battery box, instructions and an addressed return prepaid courier bag included.

LITHIUM, RECHARGEABLE & OTHER TYPES

We can recycle a large range of batteries including lithium, rechargeable, button batteries, Nicad, Nimh, Li-ion, polymer, and lead.

UPS LEAD ACID & CAR BATTERIES

Sealed lead acid batteries from UPS back up systems and  car batteries are sent to Korea to recover the lead and acid.

Lee is a valued member of the Abilities Group team, working in our e-waste and battery recycling area. He is an asset to our company, bringing a unique perspective and skillset to his role. 

Lee’s dedication and hard work are evident in the quality of his output, and his positive attitude and teamwork inspire those around him. We believe in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone, regardless of their abilities, can thrive and contribute to the success of our company. 

Lee lives with his Mum and Dad who he is very close to and has worked with us for over 20 years. He is very organised in his work and methodical, hid workspace in the battery recycling area is always clean and tidy
