WHAT WE CAN RECYCLE

Abilities Group is an industry leader in the responsible disposal and recycling of electronic and electrical equipment, or E-Waste. If it has a plug or a battery then we will recycle it!

We accept a wide range of items, including laptops, desktop computers and peripherals, servers, CRT and flat-screen TVs, printers, audio and video equipment like VCRs and DVD players. We also accept radios, stereo systems, mobile and landline telephones, whiteware, home appliances, cables and wires, and even the packaging and accessories that came with these items.

Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond just collecting E-Waste, as we hold a Basel Permit to export printed circuit boards to Japan for processing and the extraction of precious metals. By doing so, we help reduce our dependence on underground mining for these valuable resources.

In fact, we currently divert over 1,248,000 kg of material each year from landfills through our responsible, secure and robust recycling practices. 

PAUL

Paul works in our e-waste recycling team at Abilities Group. As the world becomes increasingly reliant on technology, electronic waste has become a major problem. Paul helps address this issue by breaking down electronic waste into small component which can be recycled overseas. 

With his expertise in recycling, Paul ensures that electronic waste is disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, reducing the negative impacts of sending e-waste to landfill.

Paul has a hearing impairment but does not let this hold him back. He is very skilful in his work and is a key part of our e-waste recycling team. He has worked for Abilities Group for over 10 years. Paul’s work creates a positive impact on the environment and contributes to a healthier planet.
